1. At-a-glance verification
| Category | Current evidence required | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial general liability | Carrier, limits, declarations, COI | Admin + attorney |
| Workers compensation | Policy status or exemption analysis | CPA + attorney |
| Commercial or non-owned auto | Vehicle and driver coverage proof | Admin |
| Janitorial surety coverage | Surety terms, exclusions, claim process | Admin + attorney |
2. Commercial general liability
General liability coverage is the usual proof requested for accidental property damage or third-party injury claims. Current carrier, policy period, limits, exclusions, and certificate holder information should be verified before any public or proposal claim is made.
3. Workers compensation
Worker injury coverage depends on the company's worker classification, headcount, policy status, and Florida requirements. The CPA and attorney should confirm whether the company carries a policy, qualifies for an exemption, or needs different coverage for employees and 1099 contractors.
4. Commercial and non-owned auto
If cleaners drive company vehicles or personal vehicles for company work, the company should verify what auto coverage applies and whether customer, HOA, or commercial contracts require extra certificates or endorsements.
5. Janitorial surety coverage
Surety coverage may apply to covered theft during service, depending on the actual policy terms. The amount, carrier, exclusions, and claim process must be verified before the company mentions it in public copy.
6. Certificate of insurance
Commercial customers, property managers, HOAs, and short-term rental platforms often request a certificate of insurance. Email coi@gogreenorganicclean.com with the requesting entity's legal name, mailing address, and any required endorsements. The office should route the request to the insurance broker and store the final certificate.
